What are the properties of cinnamon?

Cinnamon is hot, pungent and sweet in nature, and belongs to the kidney, spleen, heart and liver meridians.
Cinnamon is the dried bark of Cinnamomum cassiae, family Camphoraceae, which has the effect of tonifying fire and helping yang, dispersing cold and relieving pain, activating blood circulation and promoting menstruation.
It can be used to treat kidney yang insufficiency, impotence, cold uterus, dizziness, cold pain in the heart and abdomen, cold pain in the waist and knees, running dolphin (cold upward, such as the dolphin’s running), cold stagnation of blood stasis, menstrual dysmenorrhea, yin gangrene (is a kind of slow condition of the Yin sores disease of the general term), flow of injections (issued in the deep muscle of the multiple abscesses), and other diseases.
