The herbal remedy for vitiligo of the heart-spleen (heart and spleen weakness) type is the Qui Spleen Tang. The main treatment for the deficiency of the heart and spleen, qi and blood. The symptoms are palpitations (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), anxiety (violent heartbeat, panic), forgetfulness and insomnia, night sweats (sweating abnormally after going to sleep, waking up sweating stops), tiredness and low food; spleen does not control the blood (non-physiological hemorrhagic disease). Symptoms include blood in stool, subcutaneous purpura, and women’s metrorrhagia (excessive menstrual flow or dribbling).
