What are the early symptoms of cirrhosis

The common symptoms in early stage of liver cirrhosis include loss of appetite, weight loss, fatigue, grayish color, vague pain in liver area, irregular bleeding and so on.
1. Loss of appetite: one of the most common symptoms in early stage of cirrhosis, sometimes accompanied by nausea and vomiting, mostly due to gastrointestinal congestion and gastrointestinal secretion and absorption dysfunction caused by cirrhosis.
2. Weight loss: one of the common symptoms in early stage of cirrhosis, because of loss of appetite, insufficient food, gastrointestinal digestion and absorption disorder, and reduced albumin synthesis in the body.
3. Fatigue: it is also one of the symptoms of liver cirrhosis, the degree of which varies from mild fatigue to severe fatigue, consistent with the degree of activity of liver disease. The reason of fatigue is that when the calorie intake is insufficient, the liver is damaged or the bile excretion is not smooth, the cholinesterase in the blood decreases, which affects the normal physiological function of the nerves and muscles.
4. Gray complexion: 1/3 of cirrhosis patients have darker skin around face and eyes than before, which is due to liver damage, decreased liver function and increased melanin production.
5. Hidden pain in liver area: it is also common in cirrhosis, and the symptom is more obvious after fatigue, but at the same time, there is jaundice and fever, which suggests that the liver cells are obviously damaged, and it has some significance in judging the prognosis.
6. Irregular bleeding: cirrhosis can affect the synthesis of prothrombin and the rest of coagulation factors, hypersplenism can cause thrombocytopenia, so there are often gums, nasal bleeding, skin mucosa, purple spots or bleeding spots, or vomiting blood, blood in stool.
When early symptoms of cirrhosis appear, you should go to the hospital in time for examination and treatment under the guidance of the doctor.
