What is odorous gynecological disease?

The odor is usually a problem with the leucorrhea. Normal leukorrhea is white or clear and has no odor when not accompanied by infection. If the leukorrhea is yellowish-green and foamy with a foul odor, it is usually trichomoniasis. It can be easily diagnosed by examination and test, and can be treated with oral and vaginal medication, mainly to kill trichomonas, while disinfecting underwear by boiling and wearing loose cotton underwear, which can generally be cured. If the leukorrhea is yellowish white and thin with a fishy smell, it is usually bacterial vaginitis. If bacterial vaginosis (+) is seen in the leucorrhea examination, it can be treated with some antiseptic vaginal suppositories, which can also be cured. In addition to vaginitis and vulvodynia, sometimes cervicitis and pelvic inflammatory disease can also be caused by smelly vaginal discharge, all of which need to be diagnosed and treated accordingly. In addition, some gynecological malignant tumors may also have smelly discharge, such as advanced cervical cancer and endometrial cancer, and some foreign bodies in the uterine cavity or vagina may also give off a putrid odor. Therefore, when vaginal discharge is smelly, you need to go to the hospital for timely examination to know the cause, and only when the cause is diagnosed can you get the right treatment.
