Causes of acne formation

Pimples generally refer to acne, which may be caused by abnormal hormone levels, blockage of follicular openings, and Propionibacterium acnes infection. 1. Abnormal hormone levels: Elevated levels of androgens will increase the secretion of sebaceous glands, which in severe cases will lead to blockage of the follicle orifices and the formation of acne. 2. Clogged follicles: When the cellular tissues around the hair follicles have abnormal keratinization, the hair follicles will be narrowed and clogged, and the sebum secreted by the skin will not be able to be discharged normally, and will be blocked at the follicle opening to form acne. 3. Propionibacterium acnes infection: When Propionibacterium acnes infects the hair follicles, it will rapidly proliferate and multiply with the help of fatty acids in the sebum, which may lead to the formation of acne. It is recommended that patients should seek medical treatment for acne in a timely manner and follow the doctor’s instructions.
