The main process of hemodialysis is: turn on the power switch, machine self-test, dialysate connection, precharge, set dialysis parameters, connect the patient, return blood to the machine, and sterilize.
1. Turn on the power switch: make sure the power is connected and turn on the power switch of dialysis machine.
2. Machine self-check: make sure the previous disinfection is completed. Prepare the original dialysis fluid, connect the dialysis fluid, select the fluid replacement program, and self-check the machine.
3. Dialysis fluid connection: install the return fluid pathway, including arterial and venous end, hemodialyzer, etc..
4. Pre-filling: including manual pre-filling, auxiliary pre-filling and automatic pre-filling. After the replacement fluid program is completed, it enters the dialysis preparation and exhausts.
5. Setting dialysis parameters: execute medical instructions correctly, determine the input of dialysis data, and confirm the dialysis data.
6. Connect the patient: connect the arteriovenous end of the blood circuit tube to the patient’s internal fistula (after successful puncture) or double-lumen catheter respectively, and start hemodialysis treatment.
7. Return blood off the machine: return blood after the end. Pay attention to the drainage of residual fluid after blood return.
8. Disinfection: Choose the appropriate cleaning, decalcification and disinfection procedures according to the different shifts.
Patients in need of hemodialysis are recommended to visit regular hospitals in time and follow the doctor’s instructions for standardized treatment.
