Correcting a child’s anterior neck tilt

There are many reasons for children’s neck tilt, which may be physiological or pathologic, and should be treated accordingly.
1. Physiological: If you consider that the neck tilt is caused by poor posture, correct the child’s posture in daily life, such as when reading and walking. At the same time, children should be encouraged to participate in outdoor exercise and neck muscle training.
2. Pathological: If the child has trauma or neck pain, limited movement and other manifestations, need to consider whether the cervical vertebrae subluxation may be, need to immediately seek medical attention, by the doctor to assess whether to wear a neck brace. If the child also has high or low shoulders and spinal deformities, it is necessary to consider the possibility of scoliosis, which should be evaluated by a doctor to determine whether or not to perform surgical treatment.
If the child’s neck is tilted forward, it is recommended to seek further medical attention to determine the cause of the problem and then actively cooperate with the treatment.
