Does ovulation prove that the fallopian tubes are open?

Ovulation only proves that the ovaries are functioning normally, but it does not prove that the fallopian tubes are open. The fallopian tubes are the channel for sperm and eggs to be transported and the site of fertilization. Therefore, if the tubes are blocked or not open, it will affect pregnancy and may lead to infertility or even ectopic pregnancy. The most common cause of ectopic pregnancy is blockage or fluid in the fallopian tubes, and there are many patients with secondary infertility due to tubal disease. If ovulation is normal and tubal blockage is particularly serious, natural conception can be considered after treatment. If treatment does not work for tubal blockage, artificial insemination, or in vitro fertilization, can be considered.
