It is possible to conceive with a bent fallopian tube, except that the chances of conception may be reduced by about 50%. Because of the bend in the fallopian tubes, ectopic pregnancy may also occur if conception occurs. After the sperm and the egg have united, when they are transported to the uterine cavity through the oscillations of the fallopian tube cilia, the twisting of the fallopian tube may prevent the fertilized egg from moving forward and then it may settle in the fallopian tube, causing ectopic pregnancy to rupture and hemorrhage. If the fertilized egg has a good free speed, it may also enter the uterine cavity through this interval for normal conception, so that the chance of pregnancy may be around 40%. To be on the safe side, anti-inflammatory treatment and fluidization are recommended to help the fallopian tubes return to normal. If necessary, laparoscopic tubal repair and plastic surgery is also recommended to avoid ectopic pregnancy.
