Omedin – a permanent wound

The first time I saw an article about a 33-year-old woman named “Red Pink Baby” in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, the beauty seeker said she had undergone more than 200 cosmetic surgeries. 200 surgeries, what is the concept? I think it’s a bit exaggerated! It should be said that Baby Pink is a complete plastic surgery freak, from the first time she received plastic surgery at the age of 16 or 17, since then she can’t stop, she has been lying on the operating table again and again. The typical plastic surgery addiction, the lack of rational consideration and selection, so that step by step towards madness. One of the most undesirable surgeries is the Omnimax breast augmentation. The material was once popular in China, and countless black clinics, beauty salons and unreliable hospitals have carried out this kind of surgery, leaving endless traumas and hidden dangers. I will now take a look at the life of Omedin: In December 1997, approved by the State Drug Administration of China, the Ukrainian company Ingelfahrer produced polyacrylamide, can be sold and used in China as a long-term implanted medical device, trade name: “Ingelfahrer”; February 15, 1998, by the Ukrainian Ltd. obtained the agency and sales right of “Ingelfahrer” in China. However, before that, China Fuhua’s investor, Hong Kong Fuhua International Group, had already established Jilin Fuhua Ingelfahrer Medical Materials Co. Thereafter, the advertisements of Ingelfahrer breast augmentation injections were everywhere, and the cost of each case at that time amounted to about 30,000 yuan; in September 1998, the Ukrainian side terminated the contract with Fuhua, and its import general distribution right was given to Jilin Aodong Company. in april of the following year, jilin fuhua yingjerfal medical materials co., ltd changed its name to “jilin fuhua medical polymer materials co. At the same time, the company claimed to have developed a new product named “Omedin”, whose main component is also polyacrylamide hydrogel. At the beginning of 1999, the State Drug Administration started a comprehensive inventory of “Ingelfahrer”, banned its continued import and sale in China, and began to rectify the situation. The reason was that the marketing and clinical use of the product was confusing. However, just over three months later, the State Drug Administration decided to lift the ban on “Ingelfahrer”, provided that it was “used by specially trained doctors in regular hospitals and plastic surgery units.” On December 15, 1999, the production of Olmedin was approved by the State Drug Administration in China after monitoring and certification, and it was put into use as a new non-toxic, environmentally friendly and low rejection artificial fat. In 2000, it was officially put into mass production and was used on a large scale in the plastic surgery industry, from simple rhinoplasty and temple augmentation to larger breast augmentation, buttock augmentation and various soft tissue depression fillers. On November 12, 2002, the State Drug Administration issued a notice on strengthening the management of the use of hydrophilic polyacrylamide gel, in response to the problems in the use of hydrophilic polyacrylamide gel products, requiring the strengthening of the management of the use of “Ingelfahrer”. “In 2003, the State Drug Administration (SDA) conducted a comprehensive inspection of “Ingelfahrer” and banned its import and sale in China, while “Omedin” was fortunately retained. The State Drug Administration issued a document stipulating that for safety reasons, only “Grade IIIA” hospitals could continue to use injectable breast implants. On April 30, 2006, the State Food and Drug Administration finally revoked the medical device registration of Omnimedin and completely stopped its production, sale and use. After 2006, although the state expressly prohibits the production and sale of Omnidene, but “Omnidene” did not disappear. Countless underground clinics like the “black workshop”, in order to benefit, will be the Omnidine to change the face, continue to use. Even before the state banned Omegadine, many domestic experts in the plastic surgery industry have expressed concern about this material, there are many conscientious doctors in public occasions to oppose the use of this material, some doctors have also been intimidated by the triads, and even life attacks. This is all driven by interest. However, as a large number of late complications and other problems came to light, millions of domestic patients who had received Omnidine injections began to lash out one after another, and the state called a halt to Omnidine and scapegoated the head of the State Drug Administration back then. The Omnidine controversy did not stop, and to this day, there are still many people who have not taken out the Omnidine injected into their bodies. Here I’ll talk about the hazards and treatment of Omedine: official statistics of 300,000 people nationwide have received injections of breast augmentation, the actual recipient of at least 3 million people, according to my experience of more than 300 cases of injections of breast augmentation removal surgery over the past ten years, summarized as follows: injections of breast augmentation seven hazards: 1, carcinogenicity: polymer (polyacrylamide hydrogel) in the body decomposition into monomer acrylamide, carcinogenicity, breast cancer The incidence of breast cancer is significantly higher. 2.Wandering and non-aggregation: The injected material can wander to all parts of the body, causing breast deformation, angularity and deformation. 3. Corrosiveness: The injected material is very corrosive to the pectoralis major muscle and glandular tissue, causing normal tissue degeneration and necrosis. 4.Impact on breastfeeding: The injected material can be sucked into the baby’s body through the milk ducts – nipples – and remain there for a long time. 5, “time bomb”: injection material is a good medium, bacteria through the nipple ducts to reach the injection material, very easy to reproduce, resulting in acute purulent mastitis. 6. Sclerosis: the formation of local encapsulation, resulting in hardening of the breast, which feels bad to the touch, or hard as a stone in heavy cases. 7. Pain: it causes obvious symptoms and discomfort: persistent hidden pain, swelling, hard lumps, etc., and in heavy cases, day and night restlessness and pain. Treatment: Surgical areolar incision, incision and removal, removal of degenerated and corroded tissue, flushing.
