What’s wrong with a lump that moves inside the jaw?

A lump inside the jaw may be a superficial subcutaneous swelling, or it may be a local lymph node that is enlarged, so you can go to the hospital to check the local ultrasound, which can basically clarify the diagnosis. If it is a swollen lymph node, most often caused by chronic pharyngitis or tonsillitis, treat the primary inflammation and the local lymph node will naturally subside without pain or protrusion. If it is a superficial swelling such as fibroid, lipoma or sebaceous cyst, if it is small, it will not compress the surrounding tissues and will not affect the appearance, regular observation is sufficient and no special treatment is needed.
