In clinical practice, cervical hyperplasia can be treated in two ways: first, inflammation-induced hyperplasia, such as local hypertrophy of the cervix, resulting in cervical redundancy, which is inflammatory hyperplasia, can be treated by surgery for polyps, while cervical hypertrophy can be treated without clinical symptoms and can be reviewed regularly at the hospital. For mild precancerous lesions, laser treatment, cryotherapy or microwave treatment can be done, while for moderate to severe precancerous lesions, conical excision of the cervix can be considered.
