Where to locate wrist pain

The location of pain in the wrist varies depending on the cause, such as soft tissue injury, fracture, carpal tunnel syndrome, and stenosing tenosynovitis of the radial tuberosity. When trauma leads to soft tissue injury, the location of pain is the site of soft tissue injury. Extension type distal radius fracture caused by trauma, generally the whole wrist are feeling pain, palmar side of the wrist joint above the 2cm pain is the most obvious; flexion type distal radius fracture, the wrist week have pain, dorsal side of the wrist joint above the 2cm more pain. Carpal tunnel syndrome, mainly caused by the transverse carpal ligament compressing the median nerve, the pain is located in the palm side of the wrist in the middle. Stenosing tenosynovitis of the radial tuberosity, the pain is usually located on the radial side of the wrist joint, and can appear when making a fist with ulnar deviation. Pain at the wrist is recommended to actively seek medical attention and treatment under the guidance of a physician.
