Hot face is a relatively common condition caused by sympathetic excitation reflexively caused by stress, excitement or temperature stimulation, increased secretion of substances such as norepinephrine and catecholamines, resulting in a faster heartbeat and increased blood supply to the skin due to the expansion of the capillaries around it. From a medical point of view, the main cause of a hot face is capillary dilation, so there are many reasons that can lead to capillary dilation. Some people have good peripheral circulation and a little activity will show facial flushing and manifest as a hot face. Also some people’s capillaries dilate when they are shy, angry, or ashamed, resulting in a flushed face. Some people drink alcohol or are in the mountains for a long time, the air is thin, the body needs more hemoglobin to absorb oxygen and cause the face to become red. Generally speaking, no special treatment is needed when the face becomes red and hot. Unless it is systemic lupus erythematosus and systemic diseases that cause heart valve disease, it may lead to a hot flushed face. No special treatment is needed when pathological cases of hot face are ruled out.
