How does the right eyelid keep jumping?

The constant jumping of the right eyelid is caused by blepharospasm in the right eye, which is a common ophthalmic condition that can occur in patients of any age. It is usually associated with prolonged overuse of the eyes, late nights, too little sleep, and viral infections, and is caused by involuntary spasms and fluttering of the orbicularis oculi muscle inside the eyelid. In the early stages of the disease, the spasms usually appear only occasionally, but if left unattended, they may gradually worsen and eventually become persistent. In rare cases, the eyelid spasms are caused by nerve root compression as the facial nerve exits the base of the skull, and can be diagnosed by cranial MRI in neurosurgery. Treatment can be facilitated by taking nerve-nourishing drugs, such as oral vitamin B12 and methylcobalamin.
