Mammogram classification should have a 90-98% chance of being benign if it is category 4a. Mammograms are the most common screening test for breast cancer in Asian women because of their relatively dense breasts. However, it is best to combine it with an ultrasound to confirm the breast classification. If a solid tumor is diagnosed and the classification is 4a or higher, the best treatment is to do a needle aspiration biopsy for pathology, and then develop the next treatment plan based on the pathology results. Patients can also have local tumor resection under local anesthesia to do intraoperative frozen pathology. If the pathology is malignant, radical surgery is then performed. If the surgical pathology is a benign tumor, the wound is closed and protected to avoid wound infection.
