There are various causes of lung pustules (alveoli), such as pneumonia, tuberculosis or emphysema. There are also some lung blisters that are caused by congenital genetic abnormalities. Lung blisters can be cured with surgery.
1. Causes: Inflammatory lesions of the small bronchi, such as pneumonia, tuberculosis or emphysema, are the main causes of pulmonary blisters. The main mechanism of the disease is that the small bronchial tubes will be edematous and narrowed after inflammation, resulting in partial obstruction of the lumen, which makes it difficult for air to be discharged from the alveoli after entering the alveoli, and leads to an increase in the pressure in the alveolar lumen. At the same time, inflammation causes damage to the lung tissue, and the alveolar walls and septa rupture to form large air-containing cystic cavities due to the increased pressure in the alveoli.
2.Treatment.
(1) Generally asymptomatic pulmonary pustules do not require treatment.
(2) In patients with chronic bronchitis or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the main focus is on treating the primary lesion. If infection occurs, antibiotics should be applied promptly.
(3) Clinical appearance of respiratory distress, infection, hemorrhage, and large blister size are all indications for surgery. The prognosis is better for single pulmonary blisters and worse for small, multiple pulmonary blisters.
During the treatment period, we should quit smoking, prohibit spicy and stimulating food, pay attention to rest, keep in a good mood, and actively cooperate with the doctor’s treatment.
