Breast nodule risk assessment mostly refers to the BI-RADS classification, where grade 4 refers to suspected malignancy, and where grade 4a refers to the possibility of malignancy of the breast nodule, and the probability of malignancy of breast nodule grade 4a is generally lower. Risk assessment of breast nodules is a BI-RADS classification of the degree of malignancy based on the size, location, and morphology of the nodule during ultrasound examination of the breast, in which grade 4a refers to a low probability of malignancy of a breast nodule, which is usually less than 10%, but further examination is needed to confirm the diagnosis. Pathological biopsy and cytological examination can be recommended for grade 4a breast nodules to clarify the pathological type of the nodules and exclude the possibility of malignant nodules; if the nodules are benign, they can be followed up on a regular basis, whereas malignant nodules require early surgical resection according to the condition, as well as adjuvant treatments such as radiotherapy and chemotherapy after surgery. It is recommended that the patient should consult a doctor in time and complete all auxiliary examinations in order to clarify the condition, so that the professional doctor can give the appropriate treatment for the condition.
