Does the Pulmonary Fibrosis Breathing Exercise Method Work

Pulmonary fibrosis breathing exercise methods are useful. Since patients with pulmonary fibrosis have poor lung function, they cannot do strenuous exercises that consume a lot of oxygen, but this does not mean that patients with pulmonary fibrosis cannot exercise. Patients with pulmonary fibrosis should learn some breathing methods that are good for the lungs, and it is extremely important to improve lung capacity and quality of life. 1. Deep breathing: inhale slowly through the nose and make the air inhaled reach the lower end of the lungs as much as possible, raise the thorax upward during inhalation and slowly bulge the abdomen. When enough air is sucked into the lungs, you should hold your breath for 5 seconds. Repeated exercises can extend the holding time to about 10 seconds. After holding your breath, slowly exhale through your mouth and repeat for 5 to 10 minutes. 2. Nose pinch breathing: press the left thumb against the left nostril, slowly inhale from the right nostril and breathe the inhaled air forward, when the lungs are saturated with air, hold your breath for about 8 seconds and then exhale the gas. Hold down the right nostril and start again, do this 5 times on each side. 3. Breathing during exercise: when walking, you can consciously and gradually increase the amount of breathing, remember that it must be slow inhalation and quick exhalation, and each exercise should not be less than 15, and exercise 2 to 3 times a day. In the process of breathing exercise in any discomfort, go to the hospital in a timely manner, active treatment, so as not to delay the condition.
