Can you breastfeed after drinking alcohol?

Breastfeeding is allowed after a small amount of alcohol consumption and prohibited after a large amount of alcohol consumption. Alcohol consumption by pregnant women can easily increase the prevalence of alcoholic children, especially when both parents like to drink alcohol. Alcoholic children are also known as Saturday babies, i.e. babies with long hair, light weight and weak cries, also known as catcall syndrome. Alcohol is less excreted through breast milk, but can be excreted through breast milk to the baby after heavy drinking. Alcohol severely damages the liver, stomach, kidneys and other functions of the baby, so breastfeeding women should be prohibited from drinking large amounts of alcohol.
