When to give egg whites to babies

Egg white generally refers to the egg white portion of the egg, and can be eaten appropriately at around 7~9 months of age. Babies start to add complementary foods at six months, and the first complementary food is recommended to be high iron rice flour. After the gastrointestinal tract is adapted, you can start to add egg yolk and other pureed foods to your baby, and then gradually transition to other foods. Egg white is mainly composed of protein, containing amino acids needed for the growth and development of babies, rich in nutritional value, generally in the baby around 7 to 9 months can be added appropriately. However, it should be noted that egg white is a kind of allergy-prone food, so when adding egg white, start from one-fourth to add, observe that the baby is not allergic to the phenomenon, gradually add to one-half, and then add to the whole egg white. If there is any allergy, stop adding it immediately.
