For more than 6 years, I have been receiving nearly 10,000 consultations after remote consultation and consultation with old patients on doctors. From my point of view, I would like to discuss with the majority of patients how to ask the most efficient consultation to the Chinese medicine doctor and how the doctor likes to answer the most. According to Dr. Lai, it is recommended to provide the following information at one time for the doctor’s reference when consulting with a TCM practitioner: I. Complaint: Tell the situation you feel most uncomfortable with in one sentence. For example, pain in the left side of the lower back for 3 days. Is there a clear cause for the onset of the disease? The cause of the onset is important for diagnosis and treatment. For example, drug rash and contact dermatitis often have clear triggering factors. Third, is it contagious, hereditary Have you observed the contagiousness of the disease and are there any similar patients around? For example, chicken pox, scabies, yellow water sores, etc. Some diseases are hereditary, such as psoriasis, lupus erythematosus, vitiligo, multiple lipodystrophies, etc. IV. Detailed information on the following is very important for TCM discriminatory analysis! (a) Sleeping condition (very important) What time do you usually go to bed? Have you fallen asleep easily recently? Do you have dreams? Do you wake up easily in the middle of the night? You can record it like this: I usually go to bed at 10 o’clock, but I feel that I have difficulty in falling asleep lately, I have a lot of nightmares, I wake up easily, and it is difficult to fall back to sleep after waking up. Or I sleep very well. (2) Mood (used to judge the operation of liver and gallbladder qi and blood, very important) Do you usually get upset, depressed and angry easily? You can record it like this: 1. good mood. 2. usually irritable. (C) Spleen and stomach condition How is your appetite? Do you want to eat or not? Do you get hungry easily? How are your bowel movements (do you have them every day?)? Is it formed? Are the stools dry? Is the urine yellow? Do you have to get up at night to pee after falling asleep, and how many times?) Does your mouth feel dry and bitter or tasteless? (d) Sweating: Do you sweat a lot (if so, where and when do you sweat a lot)? This is especially important in cold and flu type diseases! (E) Determination of Yang deficiency in the body Is the body more cold in winter (kidney Yang deficiency is more likely to be cold), are the limbs cold and difficult to warm (spleen Yang deficiency is more likely to be cold and difficult to warm the limbs), can’t sleep for a long time? (6) Women’s menstrual condition If you are a female patient, what is your usual menstrual condition (are your cycles regular, do you have dysmenorrhea, are there many blood clots, do you have breast pain before menstruation, etc.? (vii) Visual signs (upload relevant photos) Facial manifestations and tongue signs are important sources of information for TCM diagnosis and can determine the strength and weakness of the body’s yin, yang, qi and blood. Skin diseases also require uploading local skin manifestations to facilitate diagnosis and selection of topical medication. Therefore, please upload photos of the face, tongue and lesions (multiple photos for different manifestations). If possible, please also tell me what treatment you have undergone before, especially the prescription of Chinese medicine you have used recently, which can help the doctor to make a plan. In short, please submit concise information at once as much as possible in accordance with the above requirements to reduce the number of round-trip consultations and save time, so that the doctor can judge the condition and make more targeted individualized diagnosis and treatment plans and recommendations. There are 3 free consultations, so please use them wisely. If you feel that you cannot provide the above information clearly, and your condition is very complicated and difficult to express clearly, we suggest that you use telephone consultation after uploading basic information and photos for the first consultation, so that the doctor will have a detailed view of your situation, which is more efficient and better! Example: Female, 25 years old, mossy skin changes at the joints of the extremities with itching repeatedly for more than ten years. Her bowel movements are regulated, she is easily awake, irritable, and her menstruation is normal. She is cold in winter, and her limbs are cold and difficult to warm. Note 1: Do not submit irrelevant information in the consultation interface. Because there is a limit to the number of consultations, every time you submit a question, the doctor needs to spend time to read and answer it. If you really want to thank the doctor, please go to the doctor’s personal homepage to write a thank you letter or vote for him/her, and recommend the good doctor in your mind to the patients around you! This is affirmation and support for the doctor and a guide for other patients. A good doctor-patient relationship needs to be shaped by us together! 2.Consultation and treatment need several times, remember to follow-up. The process of disease diagnosis and treatment is often not a one-time event, and requires many times of continuous doctor-patient communication. Please provide your doctor with changes in your condition through the Internet in a timely manner so as to obtain new guidance. If necessary, make an appointment for an outpatient consultation. 3. The follow-up consultation should be brief and concise. At the follow-up consultation, the doctor can view the more detailed information about your condition because it is already available in front of you. Please give a brief description of the changes in your body after the medication, such as whether you are better, whether there are any new cases or cases that you missed last time. Enter the most recent prescription you took, so that the doctor can easily fix the prescription according to the condition! Stress, bad emotions and bad habits are the main killers of health. Trusting your doctor, facing the disease positively and living sunny is the magic formula to overcome all diseases. Have faith: every day, in every way, we are becoming better and better!
