Abnormal detection of new coronavirus antigen is recommended to isolate oneself immediately and report to the Health Protection Department to improve the examination of viral nucleic acid and other tests.
Abnormal detection of neocoronavirus antigen can be caused by neocoronavirus infection or a short period of inactivated vaccination against the new coronavirus. False-positive results may be caused by vaccination with the new coronavirus vaccine within a short period of time. However, this is less likely and it is recommended that the test be repeated 48 hours after vaccination, during which time home isolation is recommended.
If there are no influencing factors such as vaccination within a short period of time, it may be due to neocoronavirus infection. However, in view of the possibility of false-positive neocoronavirus antigen test, further neocoronavirus nucleic acid test is required and the result of the nucleic acid test will be finalized.
If neocollin infection is suspected, immediate isolation and reporting to the health department are recommended, and tests such as viral nucleic acid testing should be improved to confirm the diagnosis. If the infection is confirmed, the patient can be transferred to a designated hospital for active and standardized treatment.
