What happened to the urine leukocyte 1+ test?

A urine leukocyte test of 1+ usually indicates the presence of a urinary tract infection. Urinary tract infections are common in female patients and are generally caused by bacterial infections. For urinary tract infections, the more common bacteria include E. coli, S. pyogenes, Staphylococcus, etc. The route of infection is mainly retrograde transmission, that is, the bacteria are infected through the urethra to the urinary tract mucosa such as the bladder and renal pelvis. A few patients can be caused by hematogenous transmission, that is, pathogenic bacteria enter the urinary tract with the blood circulation, thus causing urinary tract infections. The common clinical symptoms of urinary tract infection are urinary frequency, urinary urgency, painful urination or systemic symptoms such as chills and high fever. The main reason for this is that when the body’s immunity is low, it is more likely to cause urinary tract infections. Patients who are in this situation need to actively apply antibiotics for anti-infection treatment.
