Pulmonary nodular disease may cause watery eyes.
Nodular disease is a non-caseating necrotizing granulomatous disease that involves multiple organs and systems. Multiple organs throughout the body can be involved, often invading the lungs and lymph nodes. Ocular involvement accounts for 25% to 30% of the cases of tuberculosis, with about one-third of the patients having an acute onset of the disease, and it is more common in young women.
Ocular involvement is mainly characterized by iritis, iridocyclitis, but also acute conjunctivitis and dry keratoconjunctivitis. Eye pain, blurred vision, ciliary body congestion, photophobia, and tearing may occur.
It should be noted that physiological stimuli, primary eye diseases, secondary eye diseases and other manifestations such as tearing can occur, can not be blindly diagnosed, must be diagnosed and differentiated.
