Difference between tumor and cancer

Tumor and cancer are two completely different concepts. Tumor occurs when abnormal cells of the body grow blindly under the effect of external physical, chemical and biological stimuli, and the cell group is called tumor, which includes benign tumor and malignant tumor. Cancer, on the other hand, is a malignant tumor that grows from epithelial tissue and is included in malignant tumor, so cancer is included in tumor. Benign tumor grows slowly, does not metastasize and invade, has less impact on the body, is generally easier to treat, and rarely recurs. As a malignant tumor, cancer grows more rapidly and the tissue differentiation is immature, which is prone to metastasis and invasion.
