Lipo knife means cervical loop electrosurgery. Lipo knife is actually a metal coil that cuts the cervical tissue through the high frequency current generated by the coil to remove the diseased tissue. It is mainly used for the diagnosis and treatment of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia CIN grade II and some grade III patients. It has the advantages of being fast, simple and safe, and is currently the most advanced new treatment technique for cervical diseases. The surgery features short operation time, less intraoperative bleeding, less postoperative discomfort, low-temperature cutting without thermal damage, no change in tissue cell morphology on the cut surface, and direct pathological examination is possible. However, there are risks associated with the procedure, such as bleeding, poor or delayed healing, cervical canal adhesions and stenosis, post-operative infection, prohibition of sexual intercourse and tub bathing for 2 months after the procedure, and review 2 months after the procedure.
