Normal range of blood pressure

Normal blood pressure is between 90 and 140 mmHg systolic and 60 and 90 mmHg diastolic. Blood pressure is the lateral pressure per unit area of blood vessel wall when blood flows in the blood vessel, it is the driving force to promote the flow of blood in the blood vessel, which contains arterial blood pressure, venous blood pressure and capillary blood pressure. Usually, blood pressure is referred to as arterial pressure in the circulation. Blood pressure is affected by cardiac output, peripheral vascular resistance, heart rate, elasticity of the walls of the aorta and large arteries, and the ratio of circulating blood volume to vessel volume. Eating a light diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables, a low-sodium diet, a low-fat diet, regular exercise, and a good workout routine can help prevent high blood pressure. In case of abnormal blood pressure test results, it is recommended to consult a doctor in time to identify the cause of the disease and carry out targeted treatment or therapy.
