What to do if you haven’t had a bowel movement in a week and don’t feel like it

One week without bowel movement and no bowel movement may be caused by constipation, indigestion, or eating too little. The causes are different and so are the treatments.
1. Constipation: Constipation is defined as having less than three bowel movements per week, dry and hard feces, and difficulty in defecation. Occasional constipation is common, but if constipation lasts for more than three months, it is chronic constipation. Generally speaking, constipation is often used laxatives, such as polycarbophil calcium tablets, wheat fiber granules and other volumetric laxatives.
2. Dyspepsia: Dyspepsia refers to one or a group of symptoms in the stomach and duodenum, and common causes include gastrointestinal dyskinesia and Helicobacter pylori infection. 3. Eating too little: Eating too little is a problem that most people will have, many people blindly dieting, weight loss, a very small amount of food every day, which will lead to gastrointestinal peristalsis slows down, feces has been piled up in the intestinal tract or no feces. You can eat more fruits rich in crude fiber as appropriate, such as apples, bananas, dragon fruit and so on.
