Stools of gastric ulcer patients are similar to normal stools in most cases, and in a few cases, loose stools, black stools and bloody stools may occur.
1. Similar to normal stools: In most cases, gastric ulcers do not affect the appearance of stools too much, so most gastric ulcer patients have stools similar to normal stools.
2. Scarce stools: some gastric ulcers may have the symptom of diarrhea, in which case the stools of gastric ulcer patients may appear scarce, containing more water and not shaped.
3. Black stools and bloody stools: usually occur when gastric ulcer patients suffer from gastric bleeding, when the bleeding is small, the blood is mixed into stools, and under the action of digestive juices, iron ions in the blood will be oxidized to black, resulting in black stools; when the bleeding is large, red bloody stools may appear.
Gastric ulcer patients should go to the hospital, complete the relevant examinations, and actively receive treatment to avoid delaying their condition.
