Tumor Pet-ct exam means both PET and CT exams are performed at the same time. Tumor Pet-ct exam is actually a combination of both PET and CT instruments, but both use the same exam bed and image post-processing station, making it more comprehensive than a single exam. PET, also called Positron Emission Tomography, is a functional imaging test that gives some functional biological information about the patient.
