Can you eat chili peppers with cirrhosis?

Cirrhosis should not eat chili peppers.
Cirrhosis patients should maintain a rich and varied and relatively light diet, not recommended to eat spicy and stimulating foods such as chili peppers.
Cirrhosis patients originally due to the presence of portal hypertension may lead to the bottom of the stomach esophagus and other parts of the varicose veins phenomenon; and chili pepper is relatively strong irritation, eating chili pepper may damage the esophagus and the mucous membrane of the stomach, but also easy to make the varicose veins rupture, triggering the upper gastrointestinal tract hemorrhage. Therefore, patients with cirrhosis are not recommended to eat chili peppers.
Cirrhosis patients should eat more high-quality protein, vitamin-rich and low-fat, low-cholesterol food.
It should be noted that patients with cirrhosis of the liver should pay attention to diet, but also quit drinking, smoking and other bad habits, in order to prevent aggravation of the disease.
