Intrahepatic Bile Duct Cancer Symptoms

Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma may present with no obvious symptoms, abdominal discomfort, weight loss and other symptoms. Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma accounts for about 10% of primary liver cancers, and may have no obvious symptoms. Often, liver mass is found incidentally by imaging test when liver function is abnormal, and right upper abdomen mass may be palpable on body surface. It may also show symptoms such as right upper abdomen discomfort, weight loss, vomiting, fatigue, etc. A small number of patients may have jaundice. Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma appears as a focal hepatic mass on CT and MRI, and the bile ducts around the mass may be dilated. Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma tends to grow along the bile ducts by infiltration, and intrahepatic metastasis and lymph node metastasis may have occurred by the time of diagnosis. Once intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma occurs, one should go to the hospital in time and have standardized treatment under the guidance of doctor.
