Aortic stent sequelae

For the sequelae of aortic stenting, which can be understood as complications, mainly the stent will restenosis in the future. For stent restenosis, the location of the aortic stent needs to be observed after implantation. If the stent is implanted in the thoraco-abdominal area covering the carotid artery and no opening is done, it may cause cerebral ischemia, but such complications are rare. Because of the location of the stent in the peritoneum, it may have to cover some important vessels, which may cause some symptoms, but now it is rare. In addition, blockage of the renal artery or mesenteric artery, which causes related partial symptoms, may only occur in particularly complicated cases where part of the functional vessels must be covered, and now there is basically open window surgery, and the sequelae or complications will be less and less.
