Is it possible to biopsy gastric cancer in erosive gastritis?

In the case of erosive gastritis, gastric cancer can be detected on biopsy if it is long-standing and not controlled with specific medications. In similar cases, the severity of the disease and the extent, depth, and breadth of infiltration of the lesion should be judged by combining the medical history, symptoms, signs, and the opinion of the treating physician. In case of early gastric cancer lesions, minimally invasive surgery under gastroscopy can be performed. If lymph nodes or distant metastases have appeared, surgical treatment or radiotherapy or chemotherapy should be combined with the opinion of gastrointestinal surgery or general surgery physicians.
