The time required for gastric cancer to develop from early stage to advanced stage varies from individual to individual and is related to the differentiation degree of gastric cancer tissues and the general condition of patients. Gastric cancer is one of the common gastrointestinal malignant tumors with high incidence and mortality rate. The earlier it is detected and actively treated, the better its prognosis and the longer its survival period. Due to the different degrees of malignancy of different differentiated gastric cancer tissues, poorly differentiated gastric cancer with high degree of malignancy develops faster and may only take about six months to one year to develop from early stage to advanced stage, while well differentiated gastric cancer with low degree of malignancy develops more slowly and may take 1-5 years or even later to develop from early stage to advanced stage. In addition, if the patient’s general condition and organism resistance are poor, the development of gastric cancer will be faster. If diagnosed as early gastric cancer, it is recommended to go to the oncology department or gastrointestinal surgery department of the hospital for radical treatment in time. Such patients mostly have better prognosis and can even be completely cured without developing into advanced gastric cancer.
