Drooling during the day may be caused by conditions such as brain diseases, Parkinson’s disease, facial nerve palsy paralysis, and oral lesions.

Facial nerve palsy: often manifests as unconscious drooling, as well as crooked corners of the mouth and leakage of speech.
Oral diseases: Mouth ulcers, gingivitis, lingual inflammation, etc. cause salivary gland irritation, resulting in frequent drooling.
