Everyday food has no medicinal effect, so it is not recommended to remove dampness through food. Dampness can be removed by taking medications, such as Ermiao Pills, Bazheng Compound, and Fenqing Wulin Pills. Ermiao Pills have the effect of drying dampness and clearing away heat; Ba Zheng Combination has the effect of clearing away heat and diuretic; Fenqing Wu Ling Pills have the effect of clearing away heat and diarrhea, diuretic and drenching.
1. Ermiao Pill is composed of Cangzhu (fried) and Huangbai (fried). It is used for the injection of damp-heat, leucorrhea, wet and itchy scrotum. If the symptoms are not relieved after taking the medicine for 7 days, one should go to the hospital for consultation.
2. Bazheng Combination, composed of Qu Mai, Plantago Ovata (fried), Polygonum aviculare, Rhubarb, Slippery Stone, Sichuan Mutong, etc. It is used for treating the symptoms of damp-heat underflow, urine and itching. It is used for dampness-heat downstream injection, short and red urine (small amount of urine, dark yellow color), gonorrhea and astringent pain, dry mouth and throat. Pregnant women are forbidden to take.
3. Fenqing Wulin Pill, composed of Mutong, Psyllium, Scutellaria, etc. It is used for the treatment of gonorrhea caused by damp-heat underflow. It is used for gonorrhea (increased frequency of urination, astringent pain in dribbling) caused by dampness-heat infiltration, with symptoms such as yellowish-red urine, frequent and urgent urination, etc. The formula contains bitter, cold and diuretic ingredients. The formula contains bitter and cold fluids, which may hinder fetal qi, and is contraindicated in pregnant women.
