Generic name of Pulmicortisol is Budesonide Suspension for Inhalation. It is an inhaled steroid hormone mainly used for bronchial asthma, replacement or reduction of oral steroid therapy or other treatments where systemic application of steroids is not possible. As a steroid hormone, Budesonide Suspension for Inhalation has anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic effects, which can rapidly relieve asthma symptoms and also improve hypoxia in patients with chronic bronchitis and other conditions.
