Currently, there are three clinical methods to check the tubal passage: the first one is a water test. The second is a tubal imaging test under X-ray. The third one is tubal imaging under 4D ultrasound. No matter which method of examination is used, it will cause local pain in clinical practice, mainly because the stimulation of drugs entering the uterine cavity will cause contraction of the uterus and cause pain. In the case of tubal incompetence, the pressure is increased, which can also cause local pain. In women who are relatively sensitive, when the medication enters the pelvic cavity along the fallopian tubes, it may also cause discomfort or mild pain in the lower abdomen. Due to individual differences, the level of pain that occurs during the test is different for each person, with some people finding the pain mild and others finding it more painful.
