Efficacy of roxithromycin capsules

Roxithromycin capsules are capsule preparations containing a white powder, the main ingredient of which is roxithromycin. Roxithromycin capsule, a semi-synthetic tetradecameric macrolide antibiotic, has an antibacterial spectrum and antibacterial effect basically similar to that of erythromycin. The effect of this drug on Gram-positive bacteria is slightly worse than that of erythromycin, and the effect of antibiotics on Chlamydia pneumoniae and Mycoplasma pneumoniae is similar to or slightly stronger than that of erythromycin. Clinically, it is mainly used for purulent bacteria, causing acute pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media, acute tracheitis and chronic bronchitis. It can also be used for pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae and Chlamydia pneumoniae, urethritis and cervicitis caused by Chlamydia trachomatis, as well as skin and soft tissue infections caused by sensitive bacteria.
