What’s wrong with chronic nosebleeds?

Chronic nosebleeds are commonly caused by bad habits, intranasal diseases, non-nasal diseases, and adverse reactions to medications. It is recommended to go to the hospital as soon as possible to find out the cause of the disease and carry out treatment. 1. Bad habits: Long-term nose picking can cause repeated damage to the nasal mucosa, resulting in long-term nosebleeds. 2. Nasal diseases: Nasal diseases such as nasal inflammation, nasal septum deviation, nasal and sinus tumors often cause long-term nosebleed due to vasodilatation of nasal mucosa. 2. Non-nasal diseases: such as leukemia, thrombocytopenic purpura and other hematologic diseases, hypertension, arteriosclerosis, and other extra-nasal diseases may also cause long-term nosebleeds. 3. Taking anticoagulant drugs such as aspirin, clopidogrel, warfarin, rivaroxaban, etc. may cause coagulation dysfunction and lead to long-term nosebleeds. Long-term nosebleeds can also be seen in other diseases. If frequent nosebleeds occur, it is recommended to consult a doctor as soon as possible to clarify the cause of the disease and then reasonably treat it, so as to avoid other adverse consequences.
