Side effects of growth hormone

Growth hormone is mainly used to treat children with growth hormone deficiency and children who are relatively short in height. The possible side effects are: 1. Growth hormone promotes mitosis, and some children with growth hormone should be monitored for the occurrence of tumors. 2. It can cause idiopathic intracranial pressure elevation, and if vomiting, headache and dizziness are found after using growth hormone, it should be tested for the presence of intracranial pressure elevation. 3. 4. It may cause bone pain; therefore, patients who are given growth hormone should be monitored for elevated intracranial pressure, bone pain, and elevated blood sugar.
