The proprietary Chinese medicine of Si Mu Tang is called Si Mu Tang Oral Liquid, which has the efficacy of eliminating accumulation and relieving pain (eliminating stagnation and relieving pain), smoothing qi and lowering rebelliousness. However, its ingredients are inconsistent with Si Mu Tang, removing ginseng and sedum and adding woodruff and hedgehog, and the efficacy has also changed.
Si Mu Tang Oral Liquid is composed of four medicines: betel nut, Wu Yao, Mu Xiang and Hovenia Citriodora. Clinically, it can be used to treat abdominal distension and pain, anorexia, diarrhea, nocturnal crying and constipation in infants and young children after the accumulation of milk and food stagnation; it can also be used to treat gastric and epigastric distension, constipation and abdominal pain in middle-aged and old people with accumulation of food and gas stagnation; and it can be used to promote the restoration of intestinal and gastrointestinal functions after abdominal surgery.
Si Mu Tang Oral Liquid can not be used for postoperative digestive tract, intestinal obstruction, pregnant women, intestinal tumors. The adverse reactions of Sifuotang Oral Liquid are not exact at present. The drug needs to be used in accordance with medical advice.
