Pioneeromycin alias Cephalosporin is an antibiotic produced by semi-synthesis of Cephalosporin C. Its main effects are bactericidal, antibacterial and anti-infective. Cephalosporin belongs to β-lactam antibiotics, similar in structure to penicillin, and is a semi-synthetic cephalosporin. It is commonly used clinically to treat infections with drug-resistant Staphylococcus aureus and gram-negative bacilli, such as pneumonia, meningitis, urinary tract infections, sepsis and so on. Cephalosporin has a broader antibacterial spectrum, stable effect and fewer adverse reactions, so it is widely used in clinical practice. It should be noted that patients with allergies need to be cautious when using cephalosporins, to clarify the history of drug allergy, and for those with unclear allergy history, skin tests should be conducted under the guidance of a doctor. The use of drugs need to follow the doctor’s instructions.
