Timing of vascular crisis for replantation of severed fingers

The circulation of the limb must be observed in the first week after the surgery, including the skin temperature, vascular performance and color of the limb, and compared with the opposite side, once every 1-2 hours. Vascular crisis can be divided into arterial vascular crisis and venous vascular crisis. Arterial vascular crisis generally refers to arterial spasm and arterial embolism, arterial spasm often occurs in the first 1-7 days after surgery, especially in the first 3 days; arterial embolism mainly occurs in the first 1-3 days after surgery, especially within 24 hours. Venous crisis generally refers to venous compression and venous embolism, and occurs typically in the first 24 hours after surgery. If a patient has a postoperative vascular crisis, antispasmodic as well as embolization therapy is recommended under medical supervision.
