How to make up for anemia in men

When men develop anemia, food supplementation alone is one-sided, and it is better to adopt appropriate ways according to different causes, whose common causes include iron deficiency anemia, megaloblastic anemia, aplastic anemia, autoimmune hemolytic anemia, and leukemia. Its treatment includes general treatment, medication, and food supplementation. 1. Iron deficiency anemia: Supplement iron such as ferrous sulfate or ferrous succinate, together with vitamin C to promote iron absorption. In daily life, we can eat more iron rich food, such as pig liver, spinach, red dates, etc., with more vitamin C rich food to promote absorption, such as oranges, apples, broccoli, etc.. 2. Megaloblastic anemia: mainly caused by the lack of folic acid and (or) vitamin B12 in the body. It is necessary to supplement folic acid or vitamin B12 and eat more fresh vegetables, fruits and animal protein. 3. Aplastic anemia: it is a kind of bone marrow hematopoietic failure, simple diet therapy is ineffective, need to supplement hemoglobin according to the condition, the use of immunosuppressant such as anti-lymphocyte globulin, androgen (testosterone undecanoate), bone marrow transplantation and so on. 4. Autohemolytic anemia: treatment of the primary disease is needed, including glucocorticoids (prednisone), immunosuppressants (such as cyclophosphamide), high-dose static injection of gammaglobulin, splenectomy and so on. 5. Leukemia: acute myeloid leukemia requires timely chemotherapy with drugs such as cytarabine. If men are anemic, it is recommended to go to the hospital in a timely manner, improve the examination to clarify the cause of the disease, under the guidance of the doctor for standardized treatment, should avoid blind self-medication.
