The recurrence rate of ovarian cancer stage 1c patients after treatment is about 10%, not zero. Ovarian cancer is a common malignant tumor in women, and the disease is caused by many factors such as hormone level and heredity. Stage Ⅰc represents the tumor is confined to unilateral or bilateral ovaries, and there is rupture of the peritoneum, tumor on the peritoneum of the ovary, ascites or positive abdominal lavage fluid in any one of them. At this early stage, a five-year survival rate of 90% is often achieved after treatment with surgery and radiotherapy. Although the prognosis is better, there is still a certain recurrence rate of about 10%. After surgery, the recurrence rate can be reduced by regular checkups and good lifestyle habits.
