Stroke golden treatment time

The golden treatment time for ischemic stroke is usually only 3-4.5 hours. This is because most patients have the possibility of brain tissue recovery within 3-4.5 hours of onset. If a patient is admitted to the hospital urgently within 3-4.5 hours of onset, a green channel can be opened for urgent intravenous thrombolysis. Intravenous thrombolysis can significantly reduce the expansion of the infarct area and save the brain tissue that is about to be necrotic. Patients should be alert to these 3-4.5 hours, which is the golden treatment time and must be actively identified and transported faster. Therefore, if a patient is found to be similar to a stroke, he or she must go through the emergency green channel at 3-4.5 hours. The emergency green channel can significantly shorten the consultation time and treatment time, thus allowing the patient to sufficiently reduce brain tissue necrosis and minimize its complications. Some patients can be almost cured if they are given so-called aggressive treatment within the golden window of time. Even if some patients do not heal, the degree of neurological impairment is much better than the outcome of patients who are not seen urgently.
