Sheng Wei Drink is used for treating deficiency of Qi and Yin, and Gui Shen Wan is used for treating deficiency of the heart and spleen (weakness of the heart and spleen), and can be used together under the guidance of a doctor when the above symptoms occur at the same time.
Sheng Wei Drink, composed of red ginseng, maitake and schizandra. It is effective in benefiting Qi, nourishing Yin and promoting the production of body fluid. It is used for palpitation (rapid heartbeat, often accompanied by panic), shortness of breath, and spontaneous sweating (involuntary sweating during the daytime, aggravated by sweating with slight movement) caused by deficiency of qi and yin. Its adverse effects and contraindications are not clear.
Gui Shen Wan (归脾丸), with the effects of benefiting qi and strengthening the spleen (regulating the qi of the spleen and stomach), nourishing the blood and tranquilizing the mind (stabilizing the mind and soothing the emotions by nourishing the blood). It is used for shortness of qi and palpitation caused by deficiency of heart and spleen, insomnia and dreaminess, dizziness and lightheadedness, tiredness and weakness of limbs, and loss of appetite. Adverse effects: Cases causing gastrointestinal discomfort and skin rash have been reported.
